Pulling inspiration from 20th century street photography (from Arthur Fellig to Andy Warhol) to document my experiences, which I find escaping me before I have time to cherish them. The hard flash and contrast of my images represents of the forgotten, exposing the precise instant of a moment so it will be immortalized. My photographic style emphasizes a presence and interaction with the environment - two traits that I fear losing in my conscious life. The saturated tones and subject matter signify an escape to dream-like states, where the warmest and coldest aspects of young adulthood can live in unison.
